From "The Definitive Anthology" Harry Vanda remembers:

"We were feeling a bit stuffed by this time and we felt Jeezus, we've got to come up with something different, and I think we did with "Heaven And Hell". I think it's a very exciting, inventive track, except that the BBC didn't want to know about it, because we used the word 'hell'. That wasn't allowed. "How can you say 'hell' on the radio?". It was bloody frustrating as hell."

Happy birthday Paul Weller.

I have recently moved and then found things I didn't think were still there. Among other things, this The Jam t-shirt and scarf. I should have bought them in Lund in 1981. The photo is from 1980, at Olympen in Lund.

Much to my chagrin, mom cut off the sleeves of the t-shirt. I had played so much floorball in it and apparently she couldn't get it clean anymore. Otherwise great quality. ☺️
